............................ and Spike and Zia
We are not in top form today some of us must have gotten ahold of some bad chocolate or something...we tried every piece searching for the bad one too and we don't know who got it ooooooooooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ...
But we should get better soon ---- we hope : o (
This has really cut into our Olympic tryout practice in competitive hair growing. We HAD hoped to win by a hair ... now we aren't sure another :o(
Oh well there are always those days that aren't 200 percent.
Zia wanted Spike to take her to dancing with the stars but spike doesn't know how to dance yet plus his little tummy hurt some and we still don't know what it was in the some to have done that.
Me Bear have been laying around burping a lot today too
Well we are all going to bed early to see if we can get to feel more chipper tomorrow so don't forget the warm chocolate milk, couple of pounds of cookies and prayers.

HA-LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW everybody ... Happy Eat-er
(pssssssssssssssssssssssst Spike that's EASTER not EAT - ER)
Oh? sorry but I have been eatin so much chocolate I may have made a slight error in speech but that's okay cus with 46 cups of double chocolate expressos i have had so far today I am just fine. Just fine I tell ya, just fine ..........
Er this is Bear and my little furry friend is a tad warped out. He has already eaten about 3 pounds of pure Hershey chocolate, assorted colors of peeps and had sugar sprinkles in his mashed potatoes.
me and Spike have a new friend too - Zia. Dian is taking care of her but she is really cool. She has a dress and a three era to wear and everything. She is well behaved or rather behaving well so far and we now have a co-ed cave. Spike is a little worried she is going to want to redecorate but that is okay because we are getting a little sick of the Care Bear theme now that I have found out that there are not yellow bears or pink bears or green bears in the real world. I was thinking things would end up like this someday but that is fine.
Me Bear has behaved so far today. I have not eaten even half of my basket yet. In part that is because I was up really really late last night and while I was searching to see where I hid the really good candy (I had forgotten where by 7 last night) I heard this noise coming from the kitchen.
I thought it might be a burglar but I couldn't psssssssssst Spike awake for love nor money. So I decided to take the role of leader and confront whoever it was making all the noise.
I flipped on the kitchen light.
Sitting right there on the counter was none other than E Bunny himself - live and in person.
He was knocking off I think his 5th or 6th slice of chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and must have jumped 7 inches off the counter when that light went on. He jumped so fast that his tail was still in the air when his belly hit the ground - sort of like me Bear seeing the alien easter bunnies the other day exceptin his tail didn't flip flop up and down for 30 minutes before stopping.
He screamed ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
I screamed EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW (I didn't realize the chcoclate cake half eaten that fell out of mouth was going to look like THAT).
We didn't do what the M&M did when he first saw Santa and Santa saw the first M&M and they both said "they do exist" but we were a might taken back.
As soon as we both started breathing again I asked - East (we're on a first name basis ya know) whatcha doin?
East said "eatin whatcha think I was doin?"
I said "I don't know"
East said "now you know Bear - right?"
I said "Bear? Where? Oh me."
East said "yes you".
We kept going back and forth like that for several minutes so we won't bore you with the details. But when we finished I said what are you doing here.
East said he had run out of chocolate and had stopped in to borrow some of mine.
I said but Walmoat is right up the street.
He said I know but you can tell those sniffling bratty kids in Rcansaw that Walmoat ain't gots three cents worth of the GOOD kind of chocolate and Easter Bunny only provides the best.
I asked if he needed a lot and he said only enough for the people on the list whose names weren't scratched out - Richard, Dian, Bear and Spike. He had given out chocolate - the good kind - to everyone else.
I looked and realized that because everyone left on the list was very good - extremely good in the case of Bear - he could take as much as he needed.
He scurried from the counter to the chocolate vault I keep in my Trick or Treat pumpkin, filled his sack, and said Thank You Bear.
I said no problem EB.
Off he went.
I sat down and then noticed that he left a note thanking me for leaving him some of the chocolate cake. I decided that since there was still some left I needed a slice or two myself - one to calm my nerves and second to make sure it didn't go bad.
The me Bear went back to bed and slept until now.
Spike is up again looking for more. Silly Spike. I hid it all again (now I kind of wish that I didn't cuz I can't remember where). I think Zia though knows because she wrote it down. I will have to go over and talk to her about it but time for a nap first.
Remember you need warm chocolate milk and several pounds of cookies later on and don't forget your prayers.

GREAT NEWS!
Mom got a new companion Zia who will be here tomorrow.
That is not all ..........
Me and Bear wented to Walmoat in search of chocolate and found some - not a lot - but some so we are going to go out and hide it where no one can find it not even those alien Easter Bunnies from the Planet Egg... heeheeheehee
we gots some really nifty hidin places too like in the living room under the couch and chairs, in our cave, in the paper towelling tube, and Bear's pockets. Bear's gots lots of pockets and they all accomodate chocolate good.
Of course we could always use a couple of new hiding places but don't suggest Bear stomach because he never gives it back if it goes in there.
it was a nice day today. Me and Bear got to go play in the park ... and we got to nap a lot with Katie starting this morning.
NEHOW we are now off to hide Easter candy so this one is really short.
We will tell you all about it tomorrow maybe
Don't forget the warm chocolate milk, the 26 pounds of fresh cookies and your prayers ...

Comeon Bear hurry up...............
we don't have all day ya know
Bear comeone
Spike is a little anxious today because it seems that Eggbert the Alien Bunny and all his friends are really kind of nice and we are going to be going and hiding Easter candy.
Spike said that I could help because I am good at hiding things and candy hiding is right up there on my A list of things I do really good . . . see Bears don't have a lot of hidden talents so we got to use what we do best. Plus if I am really good I can hide it so no little kids will find it and me and Spike can go get it later on when they have to go in.
So this one is going to be kind of short because Spike is now pushing me out of our cave really hard.
So remember the warm chocolate milk, the 7 pounds of cookies and your prayers - cuz you are going to need them to find where I Bear am going to hide YOUR candy : o )

and about 40 billion zillion alien easter bunnies
Eggbert was the leader and said he was the planet Egg ... me and Spike didn't believe him at first but then he started looking around and spied our Hershay Bar wrappers and said he was here to take all of our chocolate stash and make it available throughout the whole universe.
Well me Bear didn't take to highly to that piece of news and was going to discuss it with him as Bears discuss things like that - namely, chomping down on him with my big teeth but Spike instead immediately attacked his toes.
You should have heard him - Eggbert - holler.
Spike's teeth were gnashing away and Eggbert was howlin.
I said you know he will stop if you say APRIL FOOLS. Eggbert didn't get it right away but when Spike started spying his kneww cap Eggbert thought twice and said APRIL FOOLS.
Spike stopped but didn't look none too happy.
You don't fool bout my candy dude.
Eggbert tried to understand but Spike continued and said nobody talks about takin me and Bear's candy especially the chocolate kind.
Eggbert looked down at Spike and said but we want to share it with everyone.
Spike glanced back up at him and said well you could have asked us and nicely you know.
Eggbert looked sad.
We are sorry but we have been traveling throughout the universe and heard about this Bear who had tons of chocolate candy. We hadn't heard about you. Had we heard about you we would have been afraid to even have done that.
Well Bear and me don't take kindly to no one asking first. We DO share our candy ask Richard.
Eggbert almost was crying as he has we are sorry we wish we would have asked you for some but now you won't like us and we won't be able to share anything will we.
Spike looked back. I didn't say that you silly alien bunny but it would have been more polite to have asked nicely first.
Come on into our cave and leave your THUMP THUMP THUMPs out there. And don't forget to wipe your feet.
If you ask nicely Bear and I will share some of our candy.
It is almost Easter and here on earth Easter Bunnies bring more chocolate sometimes if you are good.
Eggbert whinced. We weren't good were we?
No not really but this time I can forgive you if Bear can.
I didn't know what to say because I was still trying to figure out where Spike got all that power from.
Hey Bear what do you think should we share some of our candy?
Are they going to take all of our candy?
No just some of it ... you know we can spare a couple of pounds of it and maybe a couple bottles of root beer too now that it looks like spring is here since it is in the 60s.
Bear shook his head a couple of times.
I suppose that means hibernation time is over right?
Spike looked up and said I guess so. So what do you think Bear?
Bear stretched and yawned and stretched some more.
I guess I could use a cup of coffee.
Eggbert looked up and for the first time smiled a big toothless alien smile.
We have a ton of hot coffee on board our flying saucer in cups (get it cups and saucer).
So that said Bear went and got his coffee mug - the three gallon one.
Spike went to brush his teeth.
And everyone got along for the rest of the day.
Don't forget the warm chocolate milk, four pounds of cookies and saying your prayers.

This is Bear
........................................... and Spike
and we have more to tell you.
Remember yesterday Bear said he was hearing this THUMP THUMP THUMP and when he got up to see what it was he saw two beady eyes staring back at him well...........
Bear's chin dropped hit the floor bounced up and hit the ceiling and started doing what normally only a tennis ball would do for about 10 minutes FLOP FLOP FLOP geez it was sort of disturbing me Spike a lot.
Then we had to leave because we were tired and scared and someone had spilled Hershey Syrup all over the floor and we had to go lick it up - that is a whole new experience if you have never done it before.
But as we were doing that and trying to get ready to go back to sleep again THUMP THUMP THUMP was heard.
We realized that it really was coming from outside of our cave. Bear could not think of anything that might be causing it. Me Spike didn't have any idea either.
This is Bear ... Spike was too afraid to think of anything causing it so he actually pulled his covers, my covers, his pillows (he has 31 pillows) and my pillows (I only have 26) over his ears and started humming loudly to make THUMP THUMP THUMP go away. I could not let my little friend be scared so I decided that once my chins stopped flapping up and down, I would get on my coat and boots and hat and gloves to go vestigate.
It took almost 23 minutes for everything to settle down but once it did I had to take off my gloves and my hat and my boots and my coat cuz I really had to go tinkle (hey that root beer does a number on a Bear ya know).
That business finished I got my coat and my boots and my hat and my gloves back on and slowly crept to the door. I avoided the mirror because there were some really scary eyes staring back at me in there.
I was going to knock but Spike woke up and said Bear you don't knock to go out you knock to get in and since this is our cave anyhow you really don't need to do either. Just go THUMP THUMP THUMP there is was again out and find out what in the world is making that sound.
Bears hate taking directions especially when they are lost because bears are never really lost they are just not where they are suppose to really be but since Spike is an honorary Bear I took his advise and put my paw on the door knob and started to turn it.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
Nuts they locked us in our own cave. Now what will me and Spike do?
Spike Help ... I yelled.
Spike mumbled something and peeked over the top of his rather large blanket pile.
What is it Bear?
They have locked us in our own cave Spike we are doomed.
Spike yawned rather wonderfully for being an honorary Bear and being so small.
Bear, I think you need to PUSH the door to open it up, not PULL it towards you.
If Bears could blush I would have been a prize blusher.
Oh yeah thanks I told Spike.
I PUSHED the door open. .
WOW ........... it was really daylight and only March 30th. The temperatures were in the 70s there was a nice breeze. Some dandelions were in bloom. Robins were in the yard ... WOW.
I started to hum a diddy but Spike threw one of his smelly socks at me and said that I needed to check out what was making that noise ... THUMP THUMP THUMP there it was again.
I sneezed because the sun was bright four times.
Alrighty lets see. Nothing loose on the outside of the door. Nothing loose on the cave. Swing set and trees are all ok. Me Bear sat down next to the door.
THUMP THUMP THUMP
dang it was even louder here than inside the cave. Maybe it was Spike snoring cuz he does snore LOUD ! (Not any louder than you do Bear).
This is really getting to me cuz I can't find the noise.
Me Bear looked all the way over to my right - Nothing.
Me Bear looked all the way over to my left - Nothing.
Me Bear looked even behind me - Nothing.
Me Bear looked on the bottom of me - Nothing.
I whewed a big WHEW... oh oh
Standing right in front of me was something I had hoped never to see...
Lightning flashed
Thunder clapped
Didn't phase them ...
I checked to make sure that me and Spike hadn't moved to a magical part of the woods. Nope everything still looked like our part of the woods except for THEM.
Me Bear won't leave you trying to figure this out but will have to continue the story more tomorrow. . .
RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME STOOD 47 ALIEN EASTER BUNNIES FROM THE PLANET EGG and they were NOT happy.
So remember your warm chocolate milk and seven pounds of cookies tonight and say your prayers... me and Spike will tell you what happened probably tomorrow.

Monday March 29 2010
Hey everybody is the forest version of bonnie and clyde ... hansel and gretal ... cheech and chong....abbot and costella...ham and cheese...peanut butter and jelly (Bear this is Spike. That last one fits you to a T - BUTT).
This is Bear and Spike on a very nice Monday evening.
It got to be pretty warm outside today which is a good thing cuz me and Spike is just about out of root beer which means it must be just about spring.
We also heard this THUMP THUMP THUMP outside of our cave this morning. Spike got scared cuz he is younger and not as brave as me Bear. He hid under his pillow. I just yawned, scratched and turned over but doggoneit it THUMP THUMP THUMPed again. I opened one eye - the one facing out - and didn't see anything but this very huge pile of candy bar wrappers, some empty two liter root beer bottles, a couple of empty potato chip bags and a big ugly wad of chewed bubble gum we use to hold up pictures of me and Spike. Must be the wind, I said. THUMP THUMP THUMP. hmmmmmmit really was a very loud wind for this time of year. THUMP THUMP THUMP geez is this going to keep up all week?
I pushed Spike's butt and asked him if he forgot to close the door to the cave.
Spike said nope he not only closed it but locked the keys outside so we would be able to get back in.
Something seemed to be wrong with that but I let it go.
THUMP THUMP THUMP.
Okay you really don't want to wake me up from a short winter nap (November through the start of spring). It makes me growly to say the least.
THUMP THUMP THUMP ...
that's it.
I Bear fearlessly through off my blankets - all 31 one of them - pushed my stuffed human in front of me and looked out the window. I got verrrrry scared cuz as I was looking out two very large beady eyes were looking in .... my mouth dropped hit the floor and bounced up past my ears. Aliens! Spike heard my chin bounce and mumbled something about "hey Bear why are you looking in the mirror?"
Boy did this Bear feel dumb.
THUMP THUMP THUMP.
Guess we will just hold you in suspense until tomorrow cuz someone just said the Hershey Syrup just spilled on the floor.
Don't forget warm chocolate milk, a couple of pounds of cookies and say your prayers.
This is Bear..................... and Spike.
Stay tuned.
THUMP THUMP THUMP ...
that's it.

Sunday March 29 2010
This is Bear
and Spike
Today is Sunday and we got up early and did stuff.
Next weekend the Easter Bunny is suppose to come if we have been good . . . we think we have been gooder than good ...
It wasn't really warm here today kind of coolish and sometimes the sun was out and sometimes the sun wasn't out and sometimes we don't know cuz we were napping.
Napping is a good thing for Bears like us. Plus if Spike naps enough he will grow up to be bigger.
We don't think dad and Katie napped today either. But then again they could of because we were napping --- a lot.
We heard a good joke - want us to share it with you?
Okay ........
What do you call a penguin in the desert?
Do you give up?
LOST!!! LOL LOL LOL
oh oh Spike just peed in his pants .......... sorry
Tomorrow is Monday we think all the kids here go back to school ??? cuz spring break was this past week which to us bears seems to be very confusing UNLESS they then have Easter Break. You never can tell down here like last Monday there were some kids that were suppose to be making up snow days and guess what - they had to take another snow day because of all the snow we had last week. bummer.
There was this other thing on the internet yesterday ... some dumb guy 55 years old was arrested in Pennsylvannia for public drunkeness after the police caught him trying to give mouth to mouth to a "long dead" possum on the side of the road eewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww that sucks.
So what is going on with all you fans of ours?
We ain't been getting no candy or stuff ...
Guess we will have to just "BEAR" - get it - with...
Okay out of here we are both tired from napping so much ... so get that nice glass of warm chocolate milk, those 4 or 5 pounds of cookies say your prayers and go to sleep.
More tomorrow

Saturday Too Early For This March 27 2010
This Is Bear (and Spike)
It is Saturday in our time zone and we decided to get up early today (noonish works for us). We had this photo taken the other day so since it is a bit better than the other one decided to use it instead. It shows us in peak form doing what we do bestest next to eating chocolate.
Dad has this Hershey Bar with Almonds on his desk - we don't think it will be there for too much longer. He is getting ready to take a nap with Kate and things like that have a way of disappearing off the face of the earth.
They already went grocery shopping and bought just a couple bags of coookies and a couple pounds of chocolate. We don't think that will last through the afternoon and when it is gone guess who is probably getting the blame for it being gone? It won't be because they didn't buy more, it will be because they think Spike and me live on air or something.
Oh well so it goes.
Okay me and Spike are going to fake sleep until dad and Kate start napping. Then somehow we will try to protect their Hershey Bar with Almonds. But we are willing to bet it will be gone when they get up.
Go outside and play ... it is nice WINDY as all get out but nice.
Sigh A Nar Ah

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN!now where's the cake?
We prefer chocolate you know - large slices with double chocolate frosting smothered in double fudge chocolate ice cream and chocolate whipped cream.
We hope you haven't eaten it all already.
It was nice out today almost 70 plus it is Friday and that means we can sleep in tomorrow morning and then practice napping about midmorning and then nap in the afternoon plus a short pre-supper nap before everyone eats. That is the nice thing about weekends - naps.
Today me and Spike did what we did yesterday - absolutely nothing cuz everyone else did everything. It is hard work trying to find ways to stay unbusy 24 hours a day. It takes a ton of practice to do it right.
Last week it was nice like this too and then it snowed I am sure glad that those couple extra thousand bazillion gallons of root beer made it before the roads got bad cuz there is nothing worse than a Bear without root beer ---- ok thats right a Bear and a short little honorary Bear named Spike.
Rumor has it that the first bunny arrived today - me and Spike have to see.
We are going to go now and eat some chocolate just so it doesn't get bad.
Remember warm chocolate milk, a couple pounds of cookies and prayers.
This is Bear and Spike signing off for now.
Bye

Thursday March 25 2010
This is Bear and Spike.
You can send for your free Bear and Spike autographs now.
Rumor has it that the two of us - Bear and Spike will be appearing soon on a television program near you.If you are interested in seeing the two of us just turn your rabbit ears a bit to the ground and look in your handy dandy TV Guide. You will find us on the CBS - Cuddly Bear Station - network. We will probably be on constantly once we get there.
It wasn't terrifically warm today actually it rained a lot which was kind of good cuz me and Spike were starting to smell a tad ripe even for us. Mennen only lasts so long and then POOF - body odor. You can imagine what a small cave begins to smell like after a couple of months. So with the rain we got to take showers. We got to lather up and throw wet washclothes at the cars as they drove down our street. When a couple of them stopped me and Spike just played dumb and blamed it on Katie and Charlie. So when they come to investigate tomorrow we won't say a thing. Spike and me will just sit back and chew chocolate plugs.
We think though that it may snow again this weekend ... we don't like snow but then again with enought of it we can get the adults here to stay home and play games with us. It helps though if they have stocked up on candy bars.
Katie is sitting in dad's lap right now so he can't move the screen. if all the letters are in one place it is his own fault she has total control over him at times.
Good the doggies are in bed now they won't get back up until spike wakes them up tomorrow morning.
Me and Spike having nothing to do all day cuz it was raining decided to figure out how many calories dad eats everyday. We both had to scratch our heads several times -Spike is getting better cuz he only scratched his butt twice. We figured and figured and came up with a grand total of 14 thousand billion hundred. We think that might even be a tad low. We are hopinh that he doesn't read this though because we are really in need of chocolate for this weekend.
Why you ask? Cuz all of the extended Bear family is coming over for lasagna this weekend and we want to have him take a family picture. Spike is an honorary member so he will be in it too even though he is kind of small for Bear pictures. Oh and don't worry when we say BEAR we mean as in animal not BARE as naked. We wouldn't do that for all the money in the world cuz we are so-fist-ta-kay-did here in rcansaw.
Spike was wondering if it was snowing out yet.
It isn't.
Tomorrow is Friday and that is good because it has been a very hard week. The two of us worked extremely hard all week. It is hard not working on anything fizz-i-cal and me and Spike are really getting good at it. You should see all the work the two of us can avoid. It is like going with the humans shopping. You would think that after all the trips to the store they would not forget so many things. It is good we go so all those forgotten things get put in the basket.
We are tired tonight so me and Spike think we will go get our glasses of warmed chocolate milk, a couple of pounds of cookies, say our prayers and hope into bed early. We have a full day of work avoidance scheduled tomorrow so night and sleep tight wishes.

Hi Ho Everybody - Bear and Spike here again.
Guess what we did today?
Give up?
NOTHING !
we didn't even sweep out our cave so it is cluttered with used root beer cups, candy wrappers, earwax scrapers and dingleberry husks. Yes, dingleberry husks. Someone put a basket of dingleberry husks but our front cave door sometime today and we ate every single one of those dingleberries. Spike said we should have saved some for dingleberry pie but since no one was home who knew how to make dingleberry pie we decided why waste good dingleberries - so we decided to just eat them all up.
Speaking as a bear, dingleberries are a lot better the por-ridge even if that nosey blond woman visits. Everytime she comes to visit it is when we are not home and to make matters worse has to try out every stinkin piece of furniture - you'd think by now she would know her fat butt doesn't fit in but one of them; has to stick her spoon in everybody's bowl - again, you'd think by now she would know that the one that was steaming was HOT and the one with the frost on the outside of the bowl was cold and the one in the middle probably would be just right. Spike has said that we need to invest in a nanny cam to see what else she is messing with around the cave. I proposed an alternative but just as effective method to stop her - a large hungry mountain lion. Spike said he has some relatives that know of a couple that are looking for work so we may try that tomorrow. Of course, if it works and anyone knows we did it we might be off for a couple of days trying to explain what happen to the dorky rangers that patrol the caves but Spike thinks he has an answer to that as well. We shall see yes sir ree we shall see.
It was fairly nice out today from all reports but the sun only shineded for a little while. Now the weather guy is saying we could have "several" inches of rain. The thing that scares me Bear and Spike is how much "several" is ... less than an inch more than a foot (maybe even more than a yard - hello America tonight expect 3 yards of rain). It is probably good for the grass that is now reaching BOG stage but we - Bear and Spike - are hoping that if it does rain we will have time to stock the fish we bought last year - we have kept them frozen in the freezer so we will have to have some time to unfreeze them before releasing them in the yard. We bought some shrimp too but SOMEONE ate those poor little headless wonders.
Me and Spike read today that a new old ancestor to humans DNA was discovered in Siberia and that what they think is that it is not a human or a Knee-And-Der-Thal. Me and Spike was excited - maybe this is the intelligent one. If it is all they would have to do now is discover what happened. This could explain a lot. Ya gotta give it credit for hiding for so long.
Me and Spike called one of our frog friends today. We was wondering how things were down at the swamp. I guess things were going pretty good cuz even though a lot of frogs croaked you could hear laughter in the background. We are thinking of taking a short day trip there soon to bring home some mosquitoes.
Me Bear was looking at my pikture and think I need to get some new duds. Since no one will decorate the house for Christmas (it snowed remember) I think it is beary close to not being in season for red no more. I am thinking that this weekend on the shopping trip for food AND CHOCOLATE THIS TIME we might hife out and go along. Me and Spike are thinking bright green Speedos. That of course presents another problem because then EVERYONE here will want Speedos and well you know how SOME humans look in Speedos...that's okay Spike you won't have those nightmares anymore honest.
It has been one of those days though - me and Spike we is lazy so we are going to say tah tah and remember before going to bed - warm chocolate milk, a couple of pounds of cookies, and because today is Wednesday don't forget to add the licorce drops. Say your prayers too.
We will be back tomorrow unless this server is sent to Hong Kong. Then we might NOT be on. Or in case me and Spike travel to Alaska and have a run in wiht that crazy woman up the She likes to shoot animals ...stuuuuuuuuuuuuu pid.
So nighty night y'all

Hello everybody This Is Bear
...................................................and Spike
Summer has returned. We think it will be fall tomorrow again and then winter and then spring and then summer and then fall and then winter and then spring ... kind of monotonous but shoot Spike and me has our root bear and a substantial quantity of chocolate left (if dad hasn't found it yet) so the two of us are set for a while longer.
Almost all of the snow has melted. Spike and I have pondered about where it went all day and we just can't seem to figure the where it went part out yet but we are not giving up. We are thinking that tomorrow the two of us will mount an expedition in search of it. Just in case someone wants to keep having it for presents or stuff like that.
Spike said today that he really wants to write something on our blog too so I - BEAR - have said to him okay. Spike, you can write something on our blog today. Although Spike is a good Englush talker, he ain't too good yet on writin so we really don't know what he will say. I said though that he could so we shall see what happens.
Spike is warming up over on the floor. He is on his 541st situp and has about 73 pushups to do yet before he is ready. Come on Spike hurry up or it will be tomorrow and too late to write englush stuff.
Spike is working faster now and should be here in a second or so. Make that a couple minutes he has just discovered a Hershey bar ..........
It is really nice outside ... really
HI THIS IS SPIKE
I am BEAR'S bestest buddy and never ever get into trouble - much.
Today Bear said I culd write englush stuff ya know like to bee or not to bee that is a question and hail to the queen and hip hip hooray jolly good eh mate? Well okay it ain't the queen's englush but it is close enough for me to understand.
Bear wanted me to set up the swimming pool because SOMEONE forgot to do it. I tried and even blew up two sides of it before quitting. It was too much work. So instead I just told Bear we could use the jack coo zee. Bear said that it was too big but me Spike said you are silly Bear I am talking about the little white one next to the shower you know the one with the really neat seat. (Bear informed me Spike at that point about toilets. EWWWWW gross. We gave up on that idea and decided to munch potato chips and gawk a mole eated dip instead. yum yum.
I Spike tried on a couple of pairs of new underwear today. That was fun but not very functional.
Bear said he was sleepy early this morning - i told him - BEAR suck it up have some coffee and quit complaining. So he did.
While everyone was eating supper tonight me and Bear dined on Dove chocolate cubes with peanut butter centers it was pretty delish-us except the peanut butter kept getting over our whiskers and paws. Bear didn't care though cuz he licks his paws off with his tongue a lot - Bears really can be pretty sloppy you know but don't tell Bear that cuz we still have to live in the same house.
Has you ever eaten pickled chocolate licorce chunks? They are good with a nice big glass of warm chocolate milk. A lot of people don't know that though. Just thought that I Spike would mention that so you could all be envious.
Well Spike has runned out of things to write about. I still have lots to say but have run out of things to write so I am going to go and let Bear finish. HEY BEAR don't eat all those chocolate Easter eggs. BEAR?!?!?!
mpfh mpsdg mgpfh ... oh (burp) sorry This Is Bear and i got somewhat carried away with checking a box of chocolates out to see how many of them say "life is like a box of chocolates". I didn't find any of them that said that though ... the ones with paw marks are soft centers in case you are wondering.
Well we had a pretty full day today so we are going to stop writing now.
So with that remember to drink a glass of milk, eat a couple of pounds of chocolate covered cookies, brush your teeth and say your prayers.
See you tomorrow or the next day maybe.
Bear and Spike

Monday March 22, 2010
Well here it is Monday already and I finally got the paws to work right. Spike and me were just thinking how great it would be if chocolate grew on trees. Shoot we would probably redecorate the cave with tons of chocolate trees.
It was nice out today. Most of the snow melted and Spike said we should guzzle as much of our root beer down as possible so spring would come quicker - he didn't tell me Bear that his real reason was to make room for all the chocolate our mutual friend E. Bunny was wanting to leave us in a couple of days. I knew that already because I am a pretty smart bear really if I think about it a long time. Of course, I am not as whimsical as Pooh Bear but that is because I am not British. I am just your average bear of moderate proportions.
We are writing this now because everyone else (all the humans) are watching this Dancing With The Stars nonsense on the tel-a-biz-yun...that is a very big word for bears to use in writing. But I am smart and can write a lot of big words for instance I know about Saskatoon Saskatchewan and can even spell it with my eyes open. I also know Mississippi. See smart huh?
We worked hard today staying out of the way of sweepers and dogs. Spike doesn't like dogs very much because they like to bark at him. I told him though that Charlie and Katie are ok once you get to know them and share nap space on weekends.
The humans worked I guess today too. They never ever take us to work with them - we have to hide if we ever want to go help them.
Mom is in the bathroom now relieving a kidney - she didn't want me to say she was in the p @# ing but we know what she is doing in there.
It is getting late again - for some reason it gets late every day about this time.
Spike and I added our pikture to this blog so everyone can say ooooooooo how cute! We know and sell autographed piktures for medium and large size Hershey with Almond Bars.
Guess Spike and I will close for tonight.
It is suppose to be almost 70 tomorrow and I am going to ask dad to put up the swimming pool - no sense wasting good warm weather with no swimming pool. Plus we (Spike and me) save them money doing that - they don't have to let us take showers and use up all the soap.
The last time I showered I found out that a shaving can is not as big as they think plus it isn't as good as silly string. That stuff that comes out disappears when water hits it - of course, it could be that it is afraid of me Bear when I am showering au natural. I don't see the fuss though because my au natural clothes look identical to my dress fur as you can plainly see in the wonderful picture Spike and I have added tonight.
So with that remember to drink a glass of milk, eat a couple of pounds of cookies, brush your teeth and say your prayers.
See you tomorrow or the next day maybe.

Sunday March 21 2010
This is the first full day of spring and so guess what happened? It snowed. Not just a little snow but a continue to hibernate until further notice snow. I am sure glad that I had that extra 14,231 gallons of root beer delivered Friday cuz this Bear just knew spring wasn't really here yet. So now we will have to wait until all this spring snow melts to see what is left to the daffodils that were blooming. Sure am glad my pals Doogey and Spike were inside cuz they would have been buried under all that spring weather we are having.
Talk about being bummed out ... the robins here were into fur coats this morning. They couldn't believe it. Friday 73 degrees absolutely balmy; yesterday drizzling and a worm buffet until someone turned the a/c on - it sleeted and ice pelleted for about an hour. About 4PM the flakes started and they just kept on going and going and going.
Well it is late and this is my first entry so I am going to snooze down but will be back with more tomorrow --- or the next day or soon
